Thank you, people of America. I was loosing my belief that Americans were good, honest people who were above predjudice and the politics of division. I was so depressed by the slimy tricks by the republicans; the do anything to succeed, swiftboat slander campaigns.

I think I can go to any country in the world (except Iraq) and walk with my head up. We have turned an corner and we are ready to shake off the wet smell of the funk that George Bush has put us in.

It's time to do the hard work of civilization. It's time to build bridges and help humans move into the future. We are made a part of this planet and we will live or die with it. Let's put our nose to the grindstone and solve the problems we have before us. I'm excited to put my hand in yours and work together with everyone who is able. Lets do it, together.

As an ER nurse, I see the broken healthcare system at it's ragged front face.  American citizens are treated like dirt when it comes to healthcare.  There are the haves and the have-nots.  Did you know that you are more than twice as likely to die from your injuries if you are an uninsured trauma victim?  Two guys get mugged and shot.  One has heath insurance and one doesn't.  The poor guy with no insurance is more than twice as likely to die from his wounds.  I'm ready to work to get this fixed.  I hope I can count on you to help.
